Our Story
Built by people who lived the problem.
WiseRegent was founded in 2024 by a team of ML engineers, platform architects, and compliance professionals who had spent years watching the same story play out: AI teams moved fast, governance teams scrambled to catch up, and regulatory audits turned into emergency projects.
The founders had worked at large technology companies where AI governance meant spreadsheets, email chains, and quarterly manual audits. They had seen the growing list of regulatory requirements — EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 — land on teams already operating at capacity.
The insight was simple: the infrastructure for governing software (CMDB, CI/CD gates, audit logs) had been built over decades. AI needed the equivalent. Not a process framework, but actual infrastructure — automated, continuous, and integrated with the way AI teams work.
WiseRegent is that infrastructure. We are building the system of record that makes responsible AI development the path of least resistance, not an additional burden.
